About Us
DuBatik is a Malaysian corporate batik house redefining how heritage is worn in the modern workplace.
DuBatik specializes exclusively in bespoke batik attire for corporations, institutions, and government bodies that seek distinction, cultural relevance, and refined identity. Every collection is developed on a made-to-order basis, ensuring precision, intentional production, and zero unnecessary excess.
Rooted in Malaysia and driven by purpose, we exist to power our national heritage forward. Batik is not a trend. It is an identity. Through contemporary design, tailoring, and responsible manufacturing, we position Malaysian batik where it belongs; in leadership spaces, boardrooms, and global platforms.
Sustainability is embedded in our model.
By producing only what is commissioned, we eliminate overproduction, reduce waste, and uphold quality over volume.
Our framework aligns with the principles championed by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) — particularly in responsible production, decent work, and economic growth. Through ethical sourcing, artisan empowerment, and structured manufacturing, we ensure that every garment contributes not only to corporate identity, but to long-term socio-economic impact.
Beyond production, DuBatik is building a centralized ecosystem, a one-stop center that gathers Malaysia’s batik artisans, textile makers, tailors, and handcraft specialists under one strategic platform. By integrating craftsmanship with corporate demand, we create sustainable income channels for artisans while bringing Malaysian artistry to global stages.
DuBatik are a strategic partner in shaping corporate image and in advancing Malaysia’s creative economy.
DuBatik — Malaysian heritage, tailored for corporate legacy.
Our Story
DuBatik was born from a simple realization:
Malaysia has one of the world’s most distinctive textile heritages yet in corporate spaces, that identity is often underrepresented.
We saw boardrooms filled with global suits, imported fabrics, and standardized uniforms. What was missing was something uniquely ours.
We founded DuBatik to reposition batik, not as ceremonial wear, not as retail fashion but as a symbol of professional pride.
Our mission was clear:
To make Malaysian batik a signature of corporate identity.
From the beginning, we focused on working closely with organizations that understand the power of presentation. By operating on a made-to-order basis, we ensure each collection is intentional, aligned, and responsibly produced.
But our vision extends beyond attire.
We believe artisans deserve structured access to institutional markets and not seasonal exposure. DuBatik is building a sustainable bridge between heritage craftsmanship and corporate platforms, consolidating batik makers, tailors, and handcraft specialists into one coordinated ecosystem.
Through this model, artisans gain consistent income opportunities, professional development pathways, and international exposure, while corporations gain access to refined, ethically produced Malaysian heritage wear.
Sustainability for us is not a marketing statement. It is a structural decision.
We produce only what is commissioned.
We reduce excess.
We honor craftsmanship through quality over quantity.
DuBatik exists to power Malaysia’s heritage forward, placing batik where it belongs:
In leadership spaces.
In institutions.
On global stages.
We are not just creating uniforms.
We are shaping how Malaysia is worn and how Malaysian artisans rise with it.
